  • ReviewForest. Customers review. Companies plant trees. Make an impact with online reviews. We are a startup based in Berlin, Germany. A few years ago we founded a company with a goal to help businesses grow by getting more real customer reviews. We like our job, however, we felt the urge to become more environmentally conscious. We want to help fighting the climate change, we want a greener planet and a better future for the next generations. This is how the idea of ReviewForest was born. We are working on helping our partners make an impact while growing their business. Reviews are important pillars of any business, as it is important to become more sustainable. We encourage our partners to make their customers happy and invest in a green future by planting trees as an appreciation of a reviewer's efforts. Add ReviewForest to your sustainability portfolio and join us on this journey!

Restoration is impossible without the involvement and leadership of the communities who live in and depend on these landscapes 🌳 We are partnered with Eden: People+Planet for years now, and want to highlight their work today while spreading the word about their recent rebranding. If you're used to reading about Eden Reforestation Projects, this is them! Eden: People+Planet (formerly Eden Reforestation Projects) not only addresses the challenges of historical degradation, climate change, and poverty, but also ensure long-term social and economic benefits for future generations. They do it by integrating the knowledge and expertise of community members to tackle the specific challenges facing their area. With the knowledge and resources of local communities, they build a resilient future for the people+planet. 🧑🤝🧑🌎

  • 🌍 Climate News! A recent study led by researchers at the University of Birmingham has revealed that trees are even more powerful in the fight against climate change than we thought. While we’ve long known that trees absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) through photosynthesis, this study discovered that certain trees also capture methane (CH4) – a greenhouse gas 28 times more potent than CO2. The research team found that trees can absorb methane through microorganisms living on their bark 🤯 By studying forests across different regions, they estimated that trees remove between 25 and 50 million tons of methane from the atmosphere each year. This means that trees are 7 - 12 % more effective in reducing greenhouse gases than previously estimated! This incredible discovery underlines the urgent need to protect and restore our forests. Trees are doing more than we realized. It’s our turn to do more for them. 🫡💚 #ClimateAction #ForestConservation
